Catering for ages 8–18, from beginners through to Grade 8+ on orchestral instruments, including saxophone and percussion, we made sure everyone was supported and challenged at the highest levels.

The three day course was open to everyone, with an additional two days for senior orchestra players. Once again this year our Year 13 musicians were offered the wonderful opportunity to perform as soloists with the orchestra - a truly special experience.

Every young musician is catered for through small-group tuition, larger ensembles, orchestras and Music Development groups, all led by top experts in their fields.

This year’s programme also included improvisation classes, a Creative Music Composition Workshop and opportunities to develop collaboration skills through music and choir.

The showcases were exceptional and we couldn’t be prouder of every single young musician who took part. It was wonderful to see friendships blossom, confidence grow and special memories being made by all involved.

We hope to see everyone again before our 2027 Summer School!
